About Us

Having completed a time-served apprenticeship with a small family firm, he soon gathered a wealth of knowledge and has since then gained a varied range of experience in the industry.

Sadly the recession that followed took its toll on a number of people and Steve was not immune from this either and had to change direction. An opportunity arose as a part time lecturer at Chichester College in West Sussex to teach plumbing and gas safety and so began another career change. Within a year his position was made permanent as an Associate Lecturer and just a year later he was given full lectureship. In that time, he had to take over the running of the gas and plumbing section, having rejuvenated the gas course development and turned it into a highly successful self-financing product. He was later given Senior Lecturer status having become an established Head of Section.

Steve then moved on and returned to work “on the tools” which he always preferred and became a gas and heating engineer in Jersey for Jersey Gas, after a short period of Head of Plumbing and Heating at the Grand Hotel in St. Helier, Jersey for the De Vere Group. Unfortunately, whilst the work was good for Jersey Gas, the small island became too claustrophobic for Steve and he returned to England two years later, this time to work as an Emergency Service Engineer for the gas emergency service previously known as Transco which was later sold to National Grid, who later sold it off again into smaller regional companies.

This then forced Steve to re-invent himself yet again, this time to start up his own gas, heating and plumbing business. Comforted with the wealth of knowledge and experience gained over the previous years, he was soon able to provide a quality, reliable, practical and much respected service which customers have come to recognise and rely on.

Always with a smile on his face, Steve looks forward to meeting you soon!
